Hi Margaret.
I would like to ask a couple of questions about my palm.On my left hand, I have a very short heart line and my head line and life line start together.
On my right hand, my heart line and life line start together and my heart line runs right across to the other side of my palm. I dont have a head lineon my right hand.
Do you know what this could mean? I had rhumatic heart disease when I was 9 yrs old. Could this have something to do with it?
Please reply, as I can not find any answers on the internet.

Did you know that there is a marking on the palm’s Heart Line that some palmists call the Kinky Kick? When found in a hand it is said to indicate someone who enjoys perhaps the most adventurous side of love, I guess we could say.
I caught you: you almost looked at your palm thinking I wonder if I have one?
I don’t blame you for doing that. Most of us are very interested in finding what ours and others’ palms reveal about love and romance. This is especially true in the USA where Valentine's Day is celebrated February 14.

I enjoy visiting The Palmistry International Community Forum, which eponymously features posts from Hand Readers from all over the globe on a variety of Western and Indian hand reading topics. One of these discusses the hands of famous people. It occurred to me that the right palm print of Amelia Earhart looked very much like a photo posted of Nicole Kidman’s.

The key points to remember when looking at the lines on the palm are that lines shift and change, and that the quality of a line is one of the most important indicators of a line’s interpretation.

Margaret Ruth answers a Reader’s interesting question about a palm full of lines.Hi Margaret,I have a gazillion lines in my palm. Lots of boxes. Loops. You name it! A complex mix of lines, circles, squares, connections, energies running thru it. Do tell ... what does an extraordinary amount of lines mean???
The first thing I say to someone who has a hand full of lines is “Stop the Anxiety!” Worry and anxiety show up in palms as littler, finer lines than the major lines and these a worry lines can create many grid patterns and cross patterns.

Palm Lines
Margaret Ruth
The key points to remember when looking at the lines on the palm are that lines shift and change and that the quality of a line is one of the most important indicators of a line’s meaning. Some authors state that they view the lines as energy power lines or as rivers as a way of understanding how clear and strong a line is.
Life line
People get concerned about the life line because there is a notion that a short life line means a short life. But most palmists see the life line as an indicator of vitality, zest and well-being.
