Making New Year's resolutions usually involve identifying actions that will fix, change or improve something in our life. Just for fun, and for more en-lighten-ment, here are some inner-self resolutions aimed at shifting our states of being. Try them and see if these work better for you.
A listener writes in a question about Deju Vu and asks us to talk about it some more. What is Deja Vu? Why do people experience it? Another asks about a vivid, repetitious dream and her strong emotions upon waking.

Over at NPR is an interesting blog discusses recent findings about the slippery nature of time. Are people affected by their future in the present? I've always observed that to be true; many are somewhat aware that linear time is just a construct of physical reality. So, it is always nice to see science catch up to more metaphysical wisdom.

I found myself excited to see the final results of a job I did for Astro Girl magazine for the July Issue. I wrote up the teen celebrities' futures and then the editor rewrote my material to match the tone of the Teen readers.
It was an interesting and fun project; however, some of the people I was asked about did not have terribly great futures ahead and this made it a bit difficult to write. I even double checked what I got with some of my psychic friends to make sure I was accurate because I had never heard of any of these young people before.

Hey, Margaret Ruth, I have a question. Why is it so easy for you to just tell right out of the blue what's going to happen to people? How do you do it? K.C.
Good question, but for me answer is complicated. There are about 4 things I need to say to address it. First, I do not always find it easy and I am not always tuned in. Sometimes it is hard, and sometimes I am either a little off or even completely so! Next, I often use my cards for the future because they help me with timing, people, and other more specific details.

“Just get over it!” “Get past it!” “Get on with your life!”
But for some of us, these commonly-given and common-sense responses to our breakup experience just don’t help. There are many reasons why we are not open to moving on after a heart break (usually in this case we are the Break-ee as opposed to the Break-er; otherwise we wouldn’t be so upset).
"I am really enjoying the book - I especially like the chapter summaries! I like to re-read sections and the summary makes it much easier to find what I am looking for. I also sent a copy to my sister. She and I both thought you could have been listening to our phone conversations!! Great book!" -- B.S.
“Thank you for your reading! All I can say is .. amazing!”
