Virginia Rainey, one of Utah's best writers, included my UofU tarot class in her piece about learning and inspiration in the current issue of Park City Magazine.. I was bowled over by the kind words she wrote and so of course have to broadcast them. This is no big difficulty though as I always enjoy reading her articles, and so this one is just a special treat for me. Thanks so much Virginia.

Watching this 28 second film transports you to a corner of a busy Chicago street corner. Mass transit chugs through smokey air beneath towering city buildings. Business-attired pedestrian traffic is thickly impassible and the ubiquitous protester signs march by.

An AOL Women’s Health article caught my interest recently by claiming that “your natural hair color offers surprising insights in to your mental and physical well-being." I was born with auburn hair and so of course had to skip directly down to the Redhead part, the last section of the article -- go figure -- to see what that reveals about my “mental and physical well-being.”

I'm very proud of myself. My pending* book's illustrator and I conducted a phone meeting today and I stayed very positive despite consistent artistic disregard for the detailed 23 page illustration description notebook I sent him in September, indicated by the partial samples finally sent a few weeks ago (*book coming out in October and the publisher is in the proof stage).
I have to work with him because I like his style, having grown up with it, and the price is right: since he's my Dad, he has to do it cause I say so.

One of my best friends sent me a photo of his Elk mirror. I am bowled over by Mark's creativity. He says his next one is of an eagle:
My current project intent is to make another large mirrored wood inlay of a bald eagle pouncing straight on. It is planned to be about 4 feet high and 6 feet wide. The outside edges of the mirror will also have a wood trim, something on the order of the elk inlay I made.

Looking for Joy in All the Right Places seems like a good personal theme song for each of us, and in December we just might find it in the dark. In the Northern Hemisphere, December’s shorter days of course mean much less daylight, so many people find themselves wishing this dreary time of the year was over. With just a small switch of awareness though, you can take advantage of this season and find wonderful ways to not only enjoy the time ahead, but also expand your own inner awareness and personal intuition.

Here it is and I really need to say that I still get a hit from seeing myself in a national magazine. However I have a message, for all teens and parents of teens, and it is that staying positive when doing Teen Celebrity Psychic predictions is tricky, as many teen celebrities do not actually have an extremely great future ahead, or at least one that entails the same amount of fame and fortune they are enjoying now. Some do; most don't.

Hauntings are popular topics around this time of year and a natural question to many people is: “How do I get rid of ghosts?” The answer is very simple, although difficult to enact for some people. There is only one thing that needs to be done to be free of ghost energies and it is so important that without this one thing, no other technique can work.

Psychic Margaret Ruth answered a reader's question about how to finally experience really great, long lasting relationships.
Margaret: First of all thanks for the great advice! I like reading your blog and your postings here a lot! So I had a question about friendship. I see people with lifelong friends and friends that have been around forever, but I have never experienced that. So I'm wondering: how I can make my relationships with friends more permanent? Thanks - C.C. Salt Lake City, UT

Dearest Margaret, my boyfriend and I broke up about 2 months ago because he is moving back to his country... My question is how do I deal with the sadness of his absence in my life?
“Thanks so very much for your time, your info, your insight, your incredible contribution...to my many dilemmas! Trivial as they truly are...you unlocked the door I've been pounding on for 48 years. Heaven only knows what the future holds, but I'm blessed to encounter those who have the power...the skills...the gift...to share heaven. Lucky me...Lucky you!” - P.V.
“I just wanted to let you know that your reading just before Christmas helped my mother with her guilt over my dad's recent passing. It helped her to get over that and enjoy the holidays (the best she could considering the circumstances). I enjoyed listening to my sister's readings. I find your voice soothing and comforting. You focused in on some personal issues with them that I thought was so right on!! I think it will help them tremendously. They have lots to look forward to.” -P.R.
