Hair Color Insights from AOL: Apparently a Mutation Causes My Red Hair, Brunettes Appear to be More Reliable and Blondes Should Eat Snow Peas

An AOL Women’s Health article caught my interest recently by claiming that “your natural hair color offers surprising insights in to your mental and physical well-being."  I was born with auburn hair and so of course had to skip directly down to the Redhead part, the last section of the article -- go figure -- to see what that reveals about my “mental and physical well-being.”

I have been getting a fair amount of questions lately that concern the issue of self worth. Actually, the main questions I’ve been getting are such things as: Why can’t I get what I want?  Why do I only get parts of what I want?  For many, the source issue is a lack of perfect self acceptance, and that is why I think of these as self worth problems.

I Avoided Being Tiny Art Director Today (But the Site is Worth Visiting!)

I'm very proud of myself. My pending* book's illustrator and I conducted a phone meeting today and I stayed very positive despite consistent artistic disregard for the detailed 23 page illustration description notebook I sent him in September, indicated by the partial samples finally sent a few weeks ago (*book coming out in October and the publisher is in the proof stage).

I have to work with him because I like his style, having grown up with it, and the price is right: since he's my Dad, he has to do it cause I say so.
