A Tarot Question From Susan: Too Many Guy Cards and Upcoming Tarot Classes

Here is an interesting question from Susan about Tarot Readings. hi margaret ruth - i took your tarot class about a year ago (the 1st one) (and i loved it!) apparently i missed the second class last fall which would have helped me with the question I am about to ask. I just did a reading for a friend of mine. It was a 7 card read and he got all of the kings and the emperor. I know that means something and I told him it was a good thing, but I could not elaborate any more than that. Also, when I do a reading for myself I mostly get court cards and the major arcana cards. any ideas on that? when will your next "more tarot" class be? I want to make sure I take it. First, about upcoming Tarot Classes.moon The Reading the Tarot class at the University of Utah starts Feb. 10 and lasts for 3 Tuesdays, 6:30 - 9:30 PM. It will be at the Murray campus.  I don't have an Intermediate or More Tarot class scheduled right now though.  Stay tuned for the Summer schedule. About Having So Many Guy Cards  in a reading. As you may remember, I interpret Kings (and Crowley Knights) as actual people. In this case, all those cards might be men in the questioner's life. But, to get all of the GUY cards in one small spread is a bit like getting four-of-a-kind in poker. It could be a pointer about a ton of male energy and male archetypes working in the questioner's life.  What did you end up doing? My fast read of constantly getting major cards and people cards together when reading for yourself is that other people are major influences in your life. I mean this to say that where almost all of us are impacted by the others in our life, in your case it other people contribute a particularly major influence. Does this make sense?
