Scrambled Memory Dream or Was It Granddad?

Margaret Ruth gives her impressions of the Reader’s dreams about family members who have passed. Question: I was curious if you could help explain a dream for me? Last night was the first time in a very long time I dreamt of ones who havdreame moved to the other side. The main part of the dream was with my granddad who was trying to buy a cell phone to replace one he had; now he passed about 16 years ago, so cell phones were not really his thing. In the same dream I got to see my parents too, but with them it was more like they were happy to see me. I know you are very busy, but I was curious if this was just a scrambled memory dream or something else.

My first, very strong, impression is that your consciousness was visiting with your family members. You do that quite a bit, but don’t always remember it. In this one, we know it the case because you and your Granddad were working together to get better communications. Your brain interpreted this as a cell phone upgrade – of course! It feels like a dream as it is the dream state you that has these nice visits. Other parts of your complex, multidimensional consciousness were also busy dreaming. Upon waking up, the brain, a linear type of translator, assigns images, words and thoughts on all the various activities. Here, your Granddad and you had a solid intent on communicating and thus it became easier to remember, instead of getting lost upon waking.

If you liked it, and it should have felt very nice, and you are at ease with all of this, you can suggest to yourself that you will be remembering the communications more clearly, in more and more detail.
