I Still Like This Paragraph I Wrote and I Think It's the Best in the Book
It reads: The meaningful, satisfying relationships that we’ve been talking about are not the same as competitive sports, personality contests or profit ventures. There is no competition for who gets what, who likes whom and who doesn’t, no head fakes, no bait and switch, no sucker punches and no prize – no prestige, no popularity, no posse and certainly no free cabana boys (you will have to hire them) – other than very rewarding interpersonal experiences.
And developing these real and rewarding relationships, the kind the young radio caller in Chapter 1 was aching for, will require only Three Things.
